Berisha welcomes Silvio Berlusconi's advisor to the office: The elections

The head of PD, Sali Berisha held a meeting with Dr. Marco Marrone, advisor to the President of Forza Italia, Silvio Berlusconi.

In this meeting, Berisha says that they discussed a new beginning of cooperation between the DP and the governing coalition in Italy, after the result of the last elections there.

This was the main message from the friendly meeting I had the pleasure of conducting with Dr. Marco Marrone, Advisor to the President of Forza Italia, Mr. Silvio Berlusconi, together with the Chairman of the Rome Branch of the DP, Mr. Bardhok Doda.

During the meeting, I expressed my best wishes to Mr. Marrone for the historic result achieved by Forza Italia and the center-right coalition during the September 25 elections, wishing the new governing team a quick and successful start.

I also recalled that the cooperation between our two countries remains of essential importance in every dimension, economic, social, political, but in particular in terms of the fight against organized crime and the strengthening of the rule of law.

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to convey our congratulations to the Berlusconi family through a telephone conversation with Mr. Paolo Berlusconi.
