Gjekmarkaj and Lela meet with Albanians in Casano: Registering and voting in the

Vice President Agron Gjekmarkaj and the Director of Communications of the Democratic Party, Alfred Lela, held a meeting on Sunday with the Albanians of Casano, province of Milan, in Italy.

The two DP representatives emphasized to their compatriots the need to register on the CEC's PER platform, and expressed to those present the willingness of the DP headquarters in Tirana to assist with this process.

The meeting discussed the importance of the Albanian Diaspora in Italy, with a great tradition, a bridge between Albania and the West, dating back to the time of Skanderbeg.

Lela and Gjekmarkaj spoke about the extraordinary importance of the May 11 elections and the key role of the Diaspora, as well as the DP program, where a special place is also occupied by depopulation, the diaspora, and the possibility of Albanians returning to their homeland.

The meeting was attended by the mayor of Casano d'Ada, Fabio Colombo, and the municipal councilor, Albanian-Italian Martin Gjoni.
