Mustafaj: Rama despises Dibra, we vote for dignity and change

The Head of the "Brain Gain" Department at the Democratic Party, Andi Mustafaj, delivered a powerful emotional and political speech during the meeting with the citizens of Dibra.

He reacted to Prime Minister Rama's offensive statements during his recent visit to Dibër and emphasized the unwavering values of family, dignity and the contribution of Albanian women.

Mustafaj also presented the four main pillars of the DP program, linking them to the heritage and spirit of a Dibra woman's mother, a symbol of resilience and the values that build a just and strong society.

Mustafaj: A few days ago, Edi Rama was in Dibër, where – in the wake of his contemptuous language – he again threw poison into your midst. The tears that flow down the cheeks of mothers because of their children who have left for emigration – a wound that never heals – are added to the pain of insulting the men with whom you have decided to share your life. "Keep your head down" seems to be Edi Rama's motto. But the Dibër woman never keeps her head down.

My mother raised me with the model of an invincible woman in spirit and with an inexhaustible fire in her heart. What happened, that some Dibra people surrender to Rama's attacks? The way a state treats people in need shows everything about the model of society it promotes. This is also the first pillar of the DP program: the Compassion Package.

Tireless in her professional life, my mother has inherited from me the love of work as the only way to move forward in life. This is the second pillar of the DP: production, actions, not words.

She has inherited from me the love of family – the value of all values, the cornerstone of our society. This is the third pillar: the fight against depopulation and the support of the family.

She has also inherited from me a passion for discipline, for cleanliness – because establishing order within oneself is an irreplaceable condition for any strong person. This is the fourth pillar: expressed relentlessly and forcefully – we will clean our house and we will not stop until it is completely clean.

My mother is a daughter of Dibra – a democratic woman, an Albanian lady – and the Albanian lady is the greatest being, she is the heart of our dream: of a Great Albania.

Democrats, hear our call to all the women of Debar, to all the mothers who do not bow their heads before evil. The sons and grandsons of Debar have decided to return to Debar, because this land is ours and for it, we will do everything.

Great Albania is not just a program. It is a commitment that binds us all.
