The police operation coded "Dangerous" for the capture of a highly wanted person for crimes against the person is finalized.
The operation by Fast Albania, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana and Police Station No. 3, Tirana.
The 49-year-old man from Tirana, wanted in Italy for the murder of police officers, was arrested and put in handcuffs.
Following the work for the capture of persons with high social risk declared internationally wanted, the "Fast Albania" Special Unit, based on informational intelligence, has organized and finalized the coded police operation "Dangerous".
As a result of this operation, it became possible to capture and arrest for the purpose of extradition to Italy the citizen Ilir Paja, 49 years old, resident in Tirana.
This citizen was announced as an international wanted person by the Italian authorities after the Milan/Italy Court of Appeal sentenced him to 25 years and 4 months in prison for murder, committed in collaboration and kidnapping.
The localization and capture of the 49-year-old was done in Laprakë by the "Fast Albania" Special Unit, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana and the services of Police Station No. 3 Tirana.
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with the Italian counterparts, is continuing the work to complete the documentation in order to extradite the 49-year-old to Italy.
