Under investigation for drug trafficking, SPAK seizes the assets of Princ Dobroshi and Olsi Syzi

The Special Prosecutor's Office has seized the assets of Princ Dobroshi and Olsi Syziu, both under investigation for illegal drug trafficking.

Dobroshi was transporting quantities of cocaine from South America to Germany. In 1993, Dobroshi was caught and sentenced in Norway to 14 years in prison for heroin trafficking.

Olsi Syziu, currently under investigation by the law enforcement authorities of Germany, for committing the criminal offense of "Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Substances of a Significant Amount", as a member of a gang. During 2020 and after, Syziu and other associates planned and transported significant quantities of cocaine-type narcotics via sea route from South America to Germany, as well as distributed narcotics in Germany.

The subjects of the property investigation are closely related to each other, since Prince Dobroshi has Olsi Syzi's sister as his wife.

"In implementation of the execution order dated 29.02.2024, of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, by the officers of the Judicial Police Service in the Criminal Police Department in the General Directorate of the State Police, in cooperation with the representatives of The following assets have been seized from the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, Tirana:

1. Ten bank accounts with a total balance of about 133,000 (one hundred and thirty three thousand) Euros;
