In the show 'Shjjestër' on News 24, the testimony of Elton Mermal's mother, with the changed name Alban Semaku, was published, as he confessed the last conversation with his son before he was killed.

In her testimony, the mother tells that her son had told her that he would go to the garden and that he would return soon as she accompanied him to the door, but from the evening of October 6 he did not return to the apartment alive. .

The only words he uttered to his mother as he crossed the threshold of the apartment was "prepare dinner for her, as he would be back soon." His mother waited for him until morning.

"Recently, Elton did not even hold a phone. He was associated with some boys he had friends with since childhood.

He left the house very little. It did not last long. He stayed only 10-15 minutes outside and returned home. "We always asked him what he had, but he did not speak," she declared.

The day after his sudden disappearance, a lifeless body, shot with one bullet in the head and two in the back, was found with its back turned to the side of the Shkumbin River. It would be his mother who would recognize his son's body in the morgue of the Elbasan hospital.
