She was held hostage and brutally raped by her boyfriend, says the 28-year-old:

Gleard Gusholli is a 31-year-old man who was handcuffed a day ago, after holding his 28-year-old girlfriend hostage for a week in the apartment and systematically assaulting him with hard objects.

The young woman received wounds in several parts of her body due to the violence and is in the Trauma Hospital, from where she spoke to the media.

The 28-year-old has confessed how she met Gleard and the moment when he started to become violent.

"I met Gleard at the hospital in Germany where I worked as a nurse. Since he did not know the language, I was assigned to take care of him. This is how our acquaintance began. Then we started living together in a flat next to my parents' flat. He was arrested in Austria and after prison he returned to Tirana. We started communicating again and I left everything and came to Tirana. The moment we got here he became obsessive and controlled everything of mine. He decided to hold me hostage in the apartment and brutally raped me" , the young woman confessed.

The 28-year-old lives with her parents in Germany, where they settled more than 30 years ago. While confessing the violence of her ex-boyfriend, the 28-year-old woman says that she tried to commit suicide by violence.

"He hit me with the leg of the chair, threatened me with a knife, blackmailed me that he would make some videos that he had filmed under violence and pressure while I was in the shower. I tried to jump from the fifth floor. He told me that I want you to suffer, not to kill yourself" , said the girl.

She has shown that it was Gleard's cousin who helped her get out of the apartment where she was locked up, while together with her sister-in-law, they denied to the doctors that they knew the 28-year-old.

"Gleard's cousin helped me get out of the house. My sister-in-law saw us in the elevator and said 'what has my brother done to you like this'. But when we went down to the ambulance, she and his cousin said that we don't know him, we found him on the street and I came to the hospital by ambulance" , the girl confessed further.
