The murder of the businessman, SPAK leads to trial Emiliano Shullazi's gang

SPAK has sent for trial the file of Emiliano Shullazi's gang, for the murder of businessman Vajdin Lamaj, former vice president of the Wrestling Federation, in February 2005.

On February 26, 2005, on the Durrës-Maminas road segment, near the village of Koxhaj, Klodian Saliu, who was driving his Mercedes Benz, was shot dead.

Shullazi, Viktor Bajraktari, Indrit Taulla, Lulzim Berisha and his brother-in-law Plaurent Dervishaj, Indrit Rusi, are accused of killing Lamaj and his friend Artan Arsi, where in 2005, a day after the first event, they were executed with explosives in the elevator of the palace.

Notification of SPAK:

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, in cooperation with the judicial police of the General Directorate of State Police, has completed the preliminary investigations for the criminal proceeding no. 252 of 2020.

At the end of the preliminary investigation, the following citizens were taken as defendants and sent for trial:

1. Viktor Bajraktari (Imeraj), accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", against two or more persons, committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group, provided by Articles 79 / dh , 28/4, 333 / a / 2, 334/2 of the Criminal Code, "Falsification of documents" in the form of use, provided by Article 186/1 of the Criminal Code as well as the criminal offense of "Introduction, possession of items detained in the institution of execution of decisions with imprisonment ”, committed in cooperation, provided by Article 324 / a / 2 of the Criminal Code.

2. Emiljano Shullazi, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", against two or more persons, committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group, provided by Articles 79 / dh, 28 / 4, 333 / a / 1, 334/2 of the Criminal Code.

3. Indrit Taulla, accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", against two or more persons, committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group, provided by Articles 79 / dh, 28 / 4, 333 / a / 2, 334/2 of the Criminal Code as well as of "Premeditated Murder", "Intentional Murder", remaining attempted, "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in cooperation in the form of a structured criminal group, "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group", provided by Articles 78/2, 76-22, 278/1, 28/4 and 334/1/2 of the Criminal Code.

4. Lulzim Berisha, i akuzuar se ka kryer veprat penale të “Vrasjes me paramendim”, “Vrasjes me dashje”, mbetur në tentativë, “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”, kryer në bashkëpunim në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal, “Kryerja e veprave penale nga organizata kriminale dhe grupi i strukturuar kriminal”,  të parashikuar nga nenet 78/2, 76/22, 278/1, 28/4  dhe 334/1/2 të Kodit Penal.

5. Plaurent Dervishaj, i akuzuar se ka kryer veprat penale të  “Vrasjes me paramendim”, “Vrasjes me dashje”, mbetur në tentativë, “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”, kryer në bashkëpunim në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal, “Kryerja e veprave penale nga organizata kriminale dhe grupi i strukturuar kriminal”, të parashikuara nga nenet 78/2, 76-22, 278/1, 28/4 dhe 334/1/2 të Kodit Penal.

6. Indrit Rusi, i akuzuar se ka kryer veprat penale të  “Vrasjes me paramendim”, “Vrasjes me dashje”, mbetur në tentativë, “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit”, kryer në bashkëpunim në formën e grupit të strukturuar kriminal, “Kryerja e veprave penale nga organizata kriminale dhe grupi i strukturuar kriminal”, të parashikuara nga nenet 78/2, 76-22, 278/1, 28/4 dhe 334/1/2 të Kodit Penal.

7. Luftar Reçi, accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", against two or more persons, committed in collaboration in the form of a structured criminal group, provided by Articles 79 / dh, 28 / 4, 333 / a / 2, 334/2 of the Criminal Code as well as of "Premeditated Murder", "Intentional Murder", "Illegal Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition", committed in cooperation in the form of the structured criminal group, "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group", provided by Articles 78/2, 76-22, 278/1, 28/4 and 334/1/2 of the Criminal Code.

Investigations continue in a separate criminal proceeding against accomplices in the commission of criminal offenses, etc.
