What the stars wore to "Met Gala 2021"

The theme that gathered the Hollywood stars on the red carpet at the Met Gala was: 'In America: A Fashion Lexicon.' This is the highlight of the year for designers to showcase all their talent in the body of the most famous characters in the world at the moment.

The curator of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Andrew Bolton, told the New York Times that:

"We consciously wanted this to be a celebration of the American fashion community, which suffered so much during the pandemic. I think American fashion is going through a renaissance, with young American stylists amid discussions about diversity, inclusion, "Consciousness and conscious creativity. I find it incredibly exciting."
