Hailey Bieber opens up about the skin disease she's dealing with

Hailey Bieber may have the most beautiful and glowing skin we've ever seen, but even she often faces problems. As she showed in a video, she suffers from perioral dermatitis since the age of 19 and periodically encounters this skin disease.

What is perioral dermatitis? This disease shows redness and small pink spots around the mouth area. The symptoms are very similar to those of rosacea. Hailey uploaded a video on TikTok where she talks about how her dermatitis develops and what she does to take care of it.

“It's caused by a variety of things and usually appears on my cheeks, around my mouth or sometimes under my eyes. Some things I've noticed that trigger it are: trying a new product, a product that's too harsh, the weather, some sunscreen and using a mask," said the model.

Hailey explained that for her skin she prefers super gentle anti-inflammatory products that will help soothe the skin and not cause dermatitis flare-ups. She suggests consulting a dermatologist in these cases.
