With this gesture, he drew the anger of Serbs, writes the Croatian news portal "24sata". Meanwhile, people on social networks directed a lot of insults at the artist, demanding his disqualification.

After these attacks, John reacted by saying:

"I do not understand the concern. I just wanted to thank Albania. The double-headed eagle is a symbol of Albania. You have always stood behind me… you have always been proud of me. "I'm very happy about that and that was my way of thanking."

Gjoni has a father from Kosovo and a mother from Albania, from Tirana and he has proudly accepted his origin and has not felt hindered or prejudiced by the Swiss state.
