Vučić in contemptuous tones towards Trump: The public did not react to his

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has commented in disparaging tones on the role of US President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Speaking about his impressions from Davos, Vučić said that Trump is "likable" and knows how to make the audience laugh, but that this time he faced a very serious audience, which did not react as he was used to.

" Trump is charming, he knows how to make the audience laugh, but the audience there is very serious and people don't always react to acrobatics. I have never heard so few reactions, never more empty ," Vucic said.

He described Davos as a place dominated by fear, citing the leaders of the largest American technology companies.

"I saw the mood of the people. They were the most powerful people, the heads of companies like Nvidia and other technology giants. I have never seen a world more afraid, more nervous and with less desire to participate. Everyone wanted to take shelter ," the Serbian president said, Serbian media reported.

In his statements, Vučić also focused on Kosovo, saying that according to him, American policy, including Trump's, is not based on principles.

"Regarding Kosovo, there are no principles. Trump brought it out in the open. They told us empty stories about humanitarian disasters. The big ones will continue to fight," he said, adding that Serbia, according to him, is trying to look towards the future through strategic analysis.

However, he tried to balance the criticism with positive assessments of the US, saying he is "grateful" for some American decisions towards Serbia.
