Vuçiç ultimatum to NATO: If Serbs are affected, we will wait 24

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has given an ultimatum to NATO that if Serbs in northern Kosovo are affected by the Kosovo authorities and if NATO does not react within 24 hours, Serbian forces will intervene themselves.

"I told Stoltenberg that we will not enter Kosovo if the Serbian people are endangered, before we wait 24 hours for NATO intervention. "Serbia has not entered the territory of Kosovo, not because we do not consider it as our territory, but because according to the Kumanovo Agreement, we have no right to do so," he told Pink TV.

Vuçiç stated that Serbia has increased its readiness for war due to the forces of the Kosovo Special Unit that are staying in the north of Kosovo, in Jarinje.

"Vehicles with machine guns have been standing at the crossings for seven days now and no one is excited. And then they get excited that a country that is internationally known has planes flying in its territory. "They are not interested in Serbian suffering , " Vucic added.

For several days, the situation in Kosovo has been tense after the establishment of reciprocity of license plates for Serbs. Tensions culminated Saturday with the burning of the Vehicle Registration Center in Zubin Patok. For hours, Serbian planes patrolled the skies in Jarinje, while Serbs greeted them with cheers.
