The "cruel" regime of the Taliban, girls are used as sex slaves, women

The Taliban have begun their rule, returning to the Afghan political scene after 20 years, with an iron fist. Despite appeals to the Afghan people for peace and forgiveness to all those who had fought against the Taliban, their promises are being broken day by day.

Foreign media reported that Taliban militants allegedly killed a woman by burning her alive because she did not like the food she had cooked for them. Others are said to have been threatened with death to become sex slaves of the Taliban.

In an interview with Sky News, former Afghan judge Najla Ayoubi said that "they force people to give them food and cook them. "A woman was burned because she was accused of cooking bad food for the Taliban."

The former judge claims to have left the country when the Taliban began to take more control over Afghanistan and said she has received numerous reports of violence against women. She added that she has also heard that many activists have gone into hiding for fear of violence.

"There are so many young women in recent weeks being sent to neighboring countries in coffins to be used as sex slaves. They are forcing families to marry their little girls to Taliban fighters. I do not see where the promise is. "They think women should go to work when we are seeing all this cruelty," the former judge told Sky News.

"We are deeply concerned about Afghan women and girls, their rights to education, employment and freedom of movement. We call on those in positions of power and authority throughout Afghanistan to guarantee their protection," it said. in the statement. "We in the international community are ready to help them with humanitarian aid and support, to ensure that their voices are heard."
