The socialist mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, appeared today at the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, after refusing the first summons.

Investigations against him have started after two denunciations. One was made by the members of the Municipal Council of Kamza in his address for corruption and for this issue, SPAK also called the chairman of the Municipal Council of Kamza, Pepoš, who, like Suli, did not appear the first time.

But Rakip Suli will be asked to give his version, especially about the suspected abuses of compensation for the earthquake; SPAK is conducting investigations against the mayor and officials of the municipality of Kamza for several criminal offenses related to this issue, such as "Exercising illegal influence on persons exercising public functions", "Abuse of duty", "Violation of the equality of participants in tenders or public auctions" and "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions.
