Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered today in a meeting in Pogradec the mayors of the country's 61 municipalities, focusing on the work balance of the local government.

During his speech, Rama praised the municipalities that have done a good job at the level of cleanliness and hygiene, among which he mentioned Lezha, Cërrik, Belshi and the municipality of Shijak.

However, as in other times, Rama did not agree with the mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli. The Prime Minister said that Vlora has a mayor who is sleeping and with all the potential he has today, he should be clean.

There was also criticism of the mayor of Durrës, Emiriana Sako, and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. For both of them, Rama asked the municipality of Shijak to take the example. As he considered it a "European municipality", Rama requested that the municipalities of Tirana and Durrës also use their full potential

"This is not uniform in terms of quality, it is diverse, we have exemplary municipalities, we have municipalities that are good and some that are problematic. To be such is to be problematic SP for citizens. We have all the time to address the issues and catch the train where the best of you are. In all areas of local government we have examples to be proud of. It is a matter of pride that SP leads Lezha today if we see the level of hygiene on the beach and the satisfaction of those who rest on this coastline.

We have a municipality like Vlora that has had a special attention to the law from the government but that has a mayor who is sleeping. Vlora with all the potential and support did not have to discuss being a cigarette from morning to night. Minimally.

Without talking about municipalities that have great potential like Pogradeci, it is now entering a phase that is receiving more projects, but it is an example because with the limited means of the municipality, the city can breathe freely today. This is very important.

As if it were a European municipality. They have something to learn from the municipality of Shijak. Tirana and Durrës have time to draw from their natural capacities.
