The electoral campaign has started for weeks with the political parties meeting with the citizens to convince them to vote for them by unveiling their program. However, the Socialist Party has introduced a significant weapon in these electoral elections. We have often seen that various artists came out in support of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

The latter exploits the popularity of public figures, who have a great impact on people from the reputation they have. We have seen singers like Rita Ora, Noizy, Ciljeta, Alban Skënderaj, Capital T, Ermal Meta, etc. campaigning on their social networks so that people vote for the Socialist Party.

Some of them have been accused and denounced for supporting Veliaj because they receive large financial benefits from him.

Not only that, but the phenomenon of the last few months, the winner of Big Brother VIP 2, Luiz Ejlli, could not be missing in this campaign. The singer has openly expressed his sympathy for the candidate of the Socialist Party, Benet Beci, where he was recently present at a meeting with him. He spoke in front of the people in Shkodër, convincing them to vote for Beci, and we have all seen the influence Luizi has on his followers, where in a few months he set viewership records.

Now we have to wait to see what will happen on May 14, which is the election, but it must be accepted that the involvement of VIPs in electoral campaigns is never a waste and citizens should think carefully about who they should vote for after " Locals" decide the fate of their municipalities for the next four years.
