New details have been revealed regarding the serious event that took place last night in Fier, where a 57-year-old died. Demir Backa or as he was otherwise known (Dem se Agim) Backa, was in his "Audi" type car, when another car approached him and emptied the Kalashnikov cartridge.

It has been reported that he was shot 15 times, who died a few hours later from the bullets taken.

Sources for the media have indicated that the Backa tribe is originally from Kosovo, but has been living in Fier for years and that they are one of the three richest in this city. It is learned that a year ago the Backa tribe had a conflict with a group from Tirana. The cause of the conflict was that one of the businessmen in Tirana had harassed Demir Backa's granddaughter.

It is not known if the previous incident had anything to do with last night.

We recall that the 57-year-old is the brother of the former member of the MEzin Well Well Gang, Medi Backa, who was also known as "Buç Backa", killed on March 28, 1997 in the Levan massacre, along with 23 other people. , 17 Albanians and 6 Roma.

Nicknamed the "Strong of the South", this gang had as main rival the Çole Gang led by Zani Çaushi.

The victim was the owner of "Bar Piazza" in the city center and a hotel in Saranda.

The motives for the execution of Demir Backa are still unknown, while in the village of Daullas a car was found burned, which is suspected to belong to the perpetrators. Police are continuing their work to identify and apprehend them, while the cameras of businesses near the place where the 57-year-old was executed were also seized.
