Muslim believers celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow, prayer schedule published

Muslim believers in Albania will celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow, one of the most important holidays of the Islamic faith. Like every year, thousands of citizens are expected to gather in the early hours of the morning on the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard in Tirana to participate in the Eid al-Adha prayer.

The Muslim Community of Albania has published the program of the festive ceremony, which will begin at 06:00 with the reading of the Quran and messages to believers from the leaders of the Muslim Community of Albania.

The prayer is scheduled to take place at 06:30, while the lecture of the occasion will be held by the Mufti of Tirana, Bilal Teqja.

The KMSH has called on believers to bring tapestries with them, to facilitate participation during the ceremony in an open environment.

After the end of the prayer, traditional receptions on the occasion of the holiday will continue at the headquarters of the Muslim Community of Albania until noon.

06:00 – Opening of the program

06:05 – Quran Reading, Hafiz Enes Hyka

06:10 – Welcoming speech by the President of the Albanian Council of Ministers, H. Bujar Spahiu

06:20 – Lecture by the Vice President of the Albanian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Taulant Bica

06:30 – Eid prayer, led by the Chairman of the KMSH

06:35 – Eid sermon by the Mufti of Tirana, Mr. Bilal Teqja.
