Decriminalization, CEC completes verification: Candidates of 6 municipalities

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has completed its review of the purity of the party-nominated candidates for the March 6 by-elections.

According to the CEC, all candidates are clean and are not in the conditions of banning candidacy. Thus, after the verification, the way is opened for the respective CEAZs to continue with the registration procedure.

CEC notification:

Today, the State Election Commissioner reviewed the draft decisions for the verification of the self-declaration forms of the candidates for mayors of Rrogozhina, Vora and Dibra.

At the end of the review, the Commissioner decided that they are not in the conditions of banning the candidacy and that the respective CEAZs can proceed with the procedures for the registration of the following candidates:

1. Mr. Ferdinand Shefqet Saraçi, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Rrogozhina;

2. Mr. Dritan Hajri Torba, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Dibër;

3. Mr. Edison Selman Memolla, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Rrogozhina;

4. Mr. Hekuran Selman Xhani, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Rrogozhina;

5. Mr. Premtim Riza Kryemadhi, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Dibër;

6. Mr. Lulzim Sefer Vrana, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Vora;

7. Mr. Rahim Petrit Spahiu, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Dibër;

8. Mr. Blerim Rustem Shera, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Vora;

9. Mr. Luan Qamil Haka, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Dibër;

10. Mr. Ymer Gjergio Marku, candidate for mayor in the municipality of Vora.
