Agjencia e Mbikëqyrjes Policore (AMP) ka vënë në pranga një efektiv policie dhe ka shpallur në kërkim dy persona të tjerë, të cilët dyshohen se kanë kryer vjedhje në bashkëpunim, duke nxjerrë një sasi të konsiderueshme nafte nga një anije e sekuestruar.
Sipas AMP-së, i arrestuari është inspektori A.M., 21 vjeç, i cili akuzohet se ka lejuar nxjerrjen e naftës nga anija “AYAZANOYBYA” me flamur të Tanzanisë, e ankoruar në Porto Romano dhe e sekuestruar më parë nga Prokuroria e Durrësit. Në këmbim të këtij veprimi, ai dyshohet se ka marrë një shumë prej 10 mijë eurosh.
Ndërkohë, në kërkim janë shpallur dy shtetas, J.K., 31 vjeç, dhe D.M., 34 vjeç, të cilët dyshohen për kontrabandë nafte, vjedhje në bashkëpunim dhe korrupsion aktiv të personave që ushtrojnë funksione publike.
Nga hetimet e AMP-së dhe Seksionit për Hetimin e Krimeve Ekonomike dhe Financiare në DVP Durrës, rezulton se nafta e ndodhur në anije është zëvendësuar me ujë pas sekuestrimit të saj më 12 janar 2025.
Shtatë persona të huaj procedohen në gjendje të lirë
Në kuadër të hetimeve, janë proceduar penalisht edhe shtatë shtetas të huaj me kombësi siriane dhe egjiptiane, të dyshuar për kontrabandë dhe vjedhje në bashkëpunim. Ata janë:

F.I., 23 vjeç (shtetas sirian)
A.Sh., 22 vjeç (shtetas sirian)
S.Sh., 25 vjeç (shtetas sirian)
H.B., 47 vjeç (shtetas sirian)
S.B., 53 vjeç (shtetas egjiptian)
Ë.B., 42 vjeç (shtetas sirian)
Materialet procedurale janë referuar në Prokurorinë e Posaçme Kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar (SPAK) për hetime të mëtejshme.
