The special regime for isolation in 41 bis in prison 313 in Tirana is closed.

It is learned that the General Directorate of Prisons has taken this decision some time ago, based on the fact that the number of people subject to this regime has recently been quite low and can only be handled by one of these institutions. 

Thus, the convicts who are isolated in this regime will be kept only in the Peqin prison.

The capacity of the 41 bissi of Beijing is for 40 prisoners, while all the cells of the previous 41 bissi in the capital have been turned into the prison of associates of justice. 

Currently, in this regime, Ilir Kupa and Sokol Mjacaj are kept isolated, while the application of Article 41 in our country started in 2019.
