A rare operation was performed at the University Hospital Center "Mother Teresa", where a 7-day-old baby underwent heart surgery.

The news was made public by the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, who through a post on Facebook, writes that this rare operation was performed by prof. Arben Baboçi, prof. Altin Veshti, dr. Saimir Kuçi, dr. Alfred Ibrahimi.

After the operation that lasted 5 hours, the baby is towards full recovery.
