The Albanian Football Federation has reacted after the decision that came into force today, which allows the presence of fans in Albanian stadiums, although with a reduced number, only 30% of capacity.

The AFF states that football went through 16 difficult months due to the pandemic and that it is now getting ready to restart as it deserves, with fans in the stadiums.

It is announced that the doors of the stadiums will open today starting with the challenge of the final of the Superior Category U-15 in "Selman Stërmasi", Tirana-International and the finals of the tournament of regional representatives for the U-14 and U age groups. -13 that will be played at the stadium "Elbasan Arena". This also applies to the Albanian teams participating in the European Cups, as well as to the national team matches in September.

After almost 16 months without fans in stadiums, due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19 that affected the whole world, the Technical Committee of Experts decided a month ago that from July 1, 2021 will be allowed sports championships with the presence of fans with reduced capacity up to 30% of the stadium, according to the protocol of the Institute of Public Health.

Thus, starting from today, fans can be present in Albanian stadiums and can attend the final of the Superior Category U-15 that will take place at the stadium "Selman Stërmasi" as well as the finals of the tournament of regional representatives for age groups U -14 and U-13 that will be played at the stadium "Elbasan Arena".

Also, Albanian teams participating in UEFA competitions, Teuta, Vllaznia, Partizani and Laçi, in the return matches to be played in Albania, will have the opportunity to have a limited number of fans on the stadium stairs, with 30% of its capacity.

Furthermore, from September, the emotions will return to the red and black fans, who will have the opportunity to follow the National Team closely, in the valid match for the qualifiers of the World Cup "Qatar 2022" against Hungary on September 5 and three days later against San Marinos.
