Fire situation in the country, Ministry of Defense: 9 fires in 24 hours

The Ministry of Defense informs that in the last 24 hours, 9 fires have been reported, while only two of them are active.

Citizens are also warned that the law provides severe punishment for all those who light fires and will be applied to everyone, without distinction

In the last 24 hours, according to data from the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies in the National Civil Protection Agency, 9 fires have been reported, of which 7 have been extinguished and 2 are active.

Currently, work is being done in the village of Kakodhiq in the municipality of Delvinë for the complete isolation of the hearth, which is the continuation of the massive fire that engulfed the village of Kardhikaq in the municipality of Finiq. The fire brigade of Delvina municipality and members of the Armed Forces are operating at the scene.

Also, work continues on the isolation of the hearth of the fire near the lakes of Lura, in the village of Gurë - Lure of Dibër municipality, continuation of the fire that broke out on an area with pine trees. On the ground are the firefighters of the Dibër municipality, forces from the Administration of Protected Areas, the Forestry Service and the municipal forces, as well as 50 officers from the Armed Forces.
