Jona Mullaraj, the entrepreneur of Albanian origin also known as the "Drug Lady", was sentenced to three years and 8 months in prison by an Italian court.
The "lady of drugs" was arrested by carabinieri in early December for a quantity of 450 kg of hashish and marijuana, found by a military man in a garage in Molinello di Cesano Maderno, Italian media report .
According to the investigations carried out by the carabinieri, Mullaraj was the one who was carrying the drug, the amount of which reached four quintals. To keep it, a garage was rented.
Jona Mullaraj has always stated that she is a stranger to the accusations. She remained in jail in San Vittore until early March, when she was released due to the expiration of the court decision that accepted her lawyer's request.
Mullaraj is also known for her support of former / Deputy Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Salvini.
