For more than 10 days, an Italian businessman has been missing in our country, in mysterious circumstances.

Although the incident was not reported by police, Italian entrepreneur Davide Pecorelli, former football referee and founder of an aesthetic center in Sansepolcro has been missing since January 6th.

It is learned that the 45-year-old left with his rented car in Tirana, but that he was found completely burned on the night between January 7 and 8 in the area of Puka, in the north of Albania. The car type 'Skoda Fabia' was found in a malignant area, near the border with Kosovo, inside which were found some personal belongings of the Italian businessman and bone remains.

Local police sources say that, in the case of the "foreign tourist", investigations are continuing without ruling out anything.

' La nazione ' writes that Pecorelli's Albanian partner, who lived with him in Valtiberina, these days has brought some personal items of the entrepreneur to the Albanian police useful for comparing DNA.

The Albanian woman, in front of a dozen hairdressers owned by her partner in Italy, in the shopping center of Valtiberino, gathered to announce the disappearance of the 45-year-old, is said to have said: "I do not know if Davide is in conflict with someone".

Why did Davide Pecorelli come to Albania?

In recent times he has arrived several times to take care of several businesses, dealing with the trading of lasers for beauty centers and hair products.

After all, lasers are particularly expensive machines and apparently, only between Tirana and Vlora, Pecorelli was negotiating their sale to some unidentified clients.

A trade effort, which became necessary even though, in Italy, given the consequences of the pandemic, things were not really going well.

The former judge, in fact, had problems with both the two-star hotel in Lama as well as the beauty centers and hair shops located between San Giustino, Sansepolcros, Città di Castello and Corciano.

"In short, a complicated situation to solve, but he was always in the habit of looking ahead and trying new entrepreneurial adventures," continues "La Nazione".

According to the sources of the Albanian investigative group, a burnt watch and two bones and a mobile phone were found in the car, but the decomposed body from the burning was not discovered.

Until this stage of the investigation, the police and the Prosecution of Puka are investigating the circumstances of the disappearance of the Italian trader, who has lost contact and traces since January 6.
