Official / Exile Mavraj signs in the third German league

Former center-back of the Albanian national team, Mërgim Mavraj, will play in Ligue 3 in Germany in the new season, after the experience with Greuther Furth in Bundesliga 2. This Friday, Mavraj was made official as the youngest player of Türkgücü München.  

"Exile is an experienced player and his qualities will help us. He is a positional defender, is strong in the game in the air and makes a good opening of the game. "Emigration also has a strong personality and therefore will play an important role in our team , " said Turgucu Munchen sporting director Roman Plesche.

The defender himself stated:  “In this club I notice many things that have distinguished and shaped my career. I could have chosen an easier way, but I do not like to fall short, just as Turgucu Munchen does not like to find the easy way. We will work together as a community to achieve success .

Mavraj, now 35, has 158 Bundesliga appearances and 140 Bundesliga 2 appearances on his CV. He also held the captain's armband with the Albanian national team, while he was part of the team at Euro 2016.
