It was announced yesterday that the "Sunny Hill" festival will not take place this year in Pristina, as the latter failed to organize properly in time. This festival organized by the singer Dua Lipa and her father, Dukagjin Lipa, has moved to Tirana this edition.

The location where the festival will be held has already been revealed. Shpat Begolli, member of the organizing team has revealed that the festival will be held in the park by the artificial lake of Tirana. He said that the Municipality of Tirana has promised that it will make all the adjustments for the festival to be held there.

"It is a park, but it is much bigger there than Gërmia. As the 2019 edition was conducted, we asked for suitable space because the festival was growing. "If it was held today, Gërmia would not catch us", said Begolli.

Begolli said that they have always had an invitation from Tirana for the festival to be held there, but that he said that their choice was Prishtina. Among other things, Begolli told T7 that those who bought the tickets can return them and withdraw the money, but that those who decide to go to Tirana from Pristina will have facilities such as transport coverage.
