Serious accident in Hungary, 42 vehicles collide on the highway

A serious accident occurred in Hungary, where dozens of vehicles were involved, while several injuries were reported. The incident happened on the M1 highway about 25 kilometers west of Budapest.

According to the police, 5 trucks and 37 other vehicles were involved in the collision. As a result of this incident, 19 vehicles caught fire and it is said that 36 people suffered injuries, including one that was life-threatening and 13 in serious condition.

Hungary's highway operator, Hungarian Concession Infrastructure Development Plc, posted on Facebook that a dust storm may have caused an unexpected grade.
