Tahiri's sentence, Rama speaks for the first time: I knew well what I was

Prime Minister Edi Rama did not want to comment on the sentencing of his former Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri to 3.4 years in prison for abuse of office.

Asked by the media about the court decision and the warning of Tahiri's lawyer that 'politicians should dress thickly', while holding a press conference together with Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka, Rama said that he does not comment on court decisions.

However, he added that he knew well what he had done when he led the justice reform and that going back 100 times would do the same.

" I do not comment on court decisions, I knew well what I did when I led justice reforms, to go back 100 times, I would do the same but today we are for another issue, and it is very important so I do not want to we focus on this issue. "We will have time and opportunity to talk about other issues such as justice reform," Rama said.
