Fatbardh Kadilli, a member of the Democratic Party, has expressed his ambition to announce his candidacy for mayor of the Democratic Party in Tirana, as a representative of the opposition.

Invited to the show "Zone e Lirë" on TV Klan, Kadilli said that he has consulted with friends, colleagues and television personalities, but still with the leader of the PD Berisha.

During his speech, Kadilli said that the project he aims for is for the opposition to face the government in Tirana, and for this he believes that he will have Berisha's support.

Arian Çani: Is it true that there have been rumors that you plan and are expected to be a candidate for mayor of the DP in Tirana, a challenger to Erion Veliaj?

Fatbardh Kadilli: It is true that I consulted with friends, colleagues and screen figures about the possibility of running as a representative of the opposition against Erion Veliaj or anyone from the SP for the municipal race. So far it has been a consultation of friends. You are making news that I have not spoken publicly until now.

Arian Çani: Have you consulted with the main man of the DP, whose name is Sali Berisha?

Fatbardh Kadilli: No, not consulted with Berisha. I have my name ready and available for a project to confront the opposition with the government in Tirana. I believe that this project that I intend to set up, of course I believe will also have the support of Berisha. I see myself as a unifying factor in a project where the entire opposition is very clear about who Fatbardh Kadilli is.

Arian Çani: And do you think you will be the anti-model of Erion Veliaj?

Fatbardh Kadilli: Absolutely. There is no simpler person than to make the anti-pattern of Erion. The anti-model of Erion Veliaj is enough to be an honest and true person and not to be a product of others, but to be a product of yourself.
