Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has not accepted the platform of the head of the PD parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, for resolving the crisis and uniting the PD.

In a press conference, Berisha said that Alibeaj is not recognized by the Re-establishment Commission, is the chairman of the parliamentary group and has no right to sign documents on behalf of the DP. Berisha stressed that the chairman of the party is currently the Re-establishment Group, as a collective and no one other than them can sign on behalf of the party.

"Edi Rama plays with the facade. After the court decision, the first person I met and extended my hand was Enkelejd Alibeaj and Gaz Bardhi. I first sat down with them to give the message of separation from an abnormal period, disruption of the PD. The man who created it left taking on all the responsibilities, but this offer found Alibeaj's rejection. Mr. Alibeaj not only rejected the offer, but ordered by Edi Rama through Lulzim Basha, as expressed in Shkodra Basha, sued the DP in court. Let me inform you that his lawsuit is absolutely null and void because they were not parties. Enkelejd Alibeaj has no right to sign a document except for the time he was known as the chairman of the parliamentary group. DP chairman resigned. The current DP chairman is only one: the Re-establishment Commission as a collective and not an individual. No one other than them can sign on behalf of the DP.
