Former defense minister Fatmir Mediu commented on Prime Minister Rama's statement the day before, who said that the Serbian army on the border with Northern Kosovo has zero power.

According to Mediu in an interview for Euronews Albania, Serbia is one of the countries in the Balkan region that has invested more in the army and that it is not known what consequences we can have from provocations by this army.

Mediu also said that it is necessary for the leaders of Albania and Kosovo to sit down and talk because according to him, in such situations, not only Kosovo is threatened, but a conflict in the Balkan region.

"The weight of the Serbian army on the border with Kosovo is zero, just like the Mexican army on the border with America, it's a comparison, which in concrete action, every provocation that comes from the Serbian army, we don't know where the consequences are.
