Today the council is meeting for the mandate of Vullnet Sinaj

The Council for Regulation, Mandates and Immunity will meet today to continue the debates regarding the mandate of socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 12:00.

We recall that more than two weeks ago, the chairman of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, asked the speaker of the parliament, Elisa Spiropali, to call the meeting of the Council, which was interrupted on September 18 due to the death of former MP Gerti Bogdani.

Bardhi emphasized in a letter that the Speaker of the Assembly has not called the meeting since that moment, preventing the continuation of the parliamentary procedure and sending this case to the Constitutional Court.

The Democratic Party accuses the deputy of the majority of having benefited from public funds and for this reason the Constitutional Court has to say about his mandate. Meanwhile, Sinai has denied any accusation.
