Cyber ​​attack from outside Albania, AKSHI closes access to online public

The National Agency of the Information Society has issued a notice stating that it has been forced to temporarily close access to online public services and other government sites due to a cyber attack.

AKSHI says that Albania is facing synchronized and sophisticated cyber attacks from outside Albania.

While seeking the understanding of citizens and businesses, AKSHI says that it is on full alert and is working around the clock to prevent this cyber attack from damaging or compromising Albanian information systems.

Announcement of AKSHI:

The National Agency of Information Society informs Albanian citizens that it has been forced to temporarily close access to online public services and other government websites because we are facing a synchronized and sophisticated cybercriminal attack from outside Albania.

In order to withstand these unprecedented and dangerous strikes, we have been forced to shut down government systems until the enemy attacks are neutralized.

We invite the citizens, the media, businesses and all other actors to be sensitized in order to break this attack on Albanian national interests and to understand the temporary state of not accessing public services.

The National Agency of the Information Society is on full alert and is working around the clock with the Microsoft team, the Jones Group International team, and the teams of Albanian companies in the ICT field to prevent this cyber attack from damaging or compromising the systems Albanian information.
