The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has condemned the silence of the Albanian government regarding the statement of Serbian Minister Snezhana Paunovic, who said that if she had been in Slobodan Milosevic's place in 1998, she would have "ethnically cleansed Kosovo".

At the press conference, Berisha described Tirana's reaction as "vassal silence", while demanding that the Serbian minister be declared "non grata" in Albania and prosecuted for supporting genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Sali Berisha: Her statement was condemned with the greatest force by a statement of the Democratic Party a few days ago, presented by the party spokesperson, Mrs. Floriana Garo.
We immediately demanded that she be declared persona non-grata and that a lawsuit be initiated for supporting genocide and ethnic cleansing by a minister of the country who committed these acts. But I guarantee you two things.
As long as she remains in that cabinet, she has expressed the opinion of her master, Aleksandar Vučić.
Keeping a monster like her in the cabinet, who testifies with the greatest coolness, expresses regret that the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo according to Operation Horseshoe was not completed, means having that mentality yourself.
Secondly, I condemn with the greatest force the shameful silence, the vassal silence of the Albanian government towards the statement of a minister from Belgrade.
While declaring citizens of Prizren non-grata for participating in the protest, while declaring deputies of North Macedonia, representatives of Albanians, non-grata, in the most shameful, most self-deprecating act, that foreign minister, the shame of all times, who does not dare to declare non-grata, does not dare to say a word to the monster minister who demanded the ethnic cleansing of all Albanians from Kosovo.
This attitude shows the true face of the Tirana regime.
A vassal regime to Belgrade.
