Anti-government protests enter 46th day, citizens return to the Prime

The civic protest against the government continues this evening, marking the 46th day of consecutive rallies in Tirana.

Organizers have announced that the action will continue throughout the summer, despite the high temperatures and the influx of the tourist season. According to them, citizens will gather again in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where they will repeat their calls for political change and the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The movement began after the debate over the development project in Zvërnec, but then took on broader dimensions, turning into a protest against the government. In recent weeks, participants have held marches on the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, expressing their dissatisfaction through speeches and banners.

In recent rallies, organizers have declared that the protest will not stop during the summer months and have called on citizens at home and abroad to continue their support.

According to them, citizen pressure on the government will continue until September, while protests will remain active every evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.
