Drug trafficking and criminal assets, 420 thousand euros of assets seized in

Three real estate properties have been placed under seizure by authorities in Tirana, following an investigation into suspected assets of criminal origin.

According to investigations, the seized assets, specifically two apartments and a garage, worth around 420 thousand euros, are suspected to be related to the criminal activity of a 54-year-old man with the initials HA, suspected of drug trafficking.

The property investigation was conducted based on the law on preventive measures against assets suspected of originating from organized crime and trafficking.

The police announce that controls and verifications will continue to identify other assets that may have been illegally obtained, as well as persons associated with this activity.
