At the request of SPAK, the Special Court extends the investigations for three months for the three brothers Aleksandër, Kristi and Fation Bushgjokaj, as well as Petrit Çakri, accused of the murder of young Renis Dobra.

SPAK has requested time until October to conduct some additional investigations, arguing that it is necessary to carry out some investigative actions within the framework of the expert examination of the phones and some overlapping of fingerprints.

Lawyer Erjon Kullolli, the legal representative of citizen Fation Bushgjokaj, opposed the request of the proceeding body, arguing that the Special Prosecution Office had the objective opportunity to carry out the alleged procedural actions and has not yet carried them out.

The latter also added that up to this procedural moment, SPAK has not yet argued the commission of the criminal offense of "Kidnapping" and that this offense was committed within the framework of special cooperation, of the structured group.

Bushgjokaj's defense attorney added that SPAK's request conflicts with the decision of the Joint Panels of the Supreme Court, as the prosecution has not justified and argued the reasons why the security measure of arrest in prison is the most appropriate measure.

Meanwhile, the court-appointed legal representative of citizen Petrit Çarki maintained his position, leaving the request to the court's assessment.

The four defendants were involved in a serious physical conflict a few weeks ago inside the glass cage in courtroom number 2, at the Special Anti-Corruption Court.

Petrit Çakraj implicated the three brothers Fation, Aleksandër and Kristi Bushgjokaj in the murder of the 23-year-old, causing tensions between them.

Kristi Bushgjokaj attacked Petrit Cakraj, while the other two brothers, Fation and Aleksandër Bushgjokaj, were also involved in this conflict, who punched and kicked the defendant, causing him injuries.

The three brothers, Fation, Aleksandër, Kristi Bushgjokaj and Petrit Cakraj, are accused of the kidnapping and murder with a rope of Reni Dobra, on July 8, 2025. In collaboration with each other, they organized the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old Dobra, whom they killed with a rope and threw together with his car on the edge of Lake Shkopet.

The conflict with the 3 brothers and Petrit Cakraj allegedly arose after Dobra attempted to deceive them several times about the quantities of narcotics.
