"Get out", Gjiknuri and Manja clash over the draft law on agricultural

The draft law on "agricultural lands" has highlighted clashes within the Socialist Party.

Damian Gjiknuri asked Ulsi Manja to speak, but was refused by the latter and left the meeting.

“Give me your word or I'm leaving.” “You can leave,” Manja told him.

Interest groups within the Socialists are also publicly displaying the high tension that has engulfed the Renaissance movement.

The Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration holds its next meeting today and among the discussions was the Review of the draft law "On some additions and amendments to law no. 9244, dated 17.6.2004, "On the protection of agricultural land", as amended".

Among the issues discussed on this draft law was the impact that the installation of wind farms will have on agricultural land. The first to object was DP MP Oerd Bylykbashi, who stated that these plants require drilling into the ground and the installation of a large concrete platform, which would damage the land.

His thesis was also defended by the SP MP, Damian Gjiknuri, who, together with two DP MPs, voted against Article 1 of this draft law and then requested clarification from the representatives of the relevant directorate, who for their part stated that the structures will be embedded directly into the ground and without concrete structures.

"To put up a tower for a 'wind farm', it is 100 meters high and there is no chance of it being placed without a concrete structure. These are very tall towers. I am not convinced by your explanations," Gjiknuri said, among other things.

The debate continued even at the last moment of the vote on the entire draft law, where Strazimir asked to continue with questions about the ambiguities, but was opposed by Chairman Manja. The latter also clashed with Gjiknuri and after a debate, the latter left the meeting.

Strazimir: I have a question.

Manja: They were exhausted.

Strazimir: Yes, I didn't finish the agricultural high school. I have a question for you.

Manja: Yes.

Strazimiri: The fact that they have also brought the note "eolian" into the draft law, there is a problem here. It is an instrument that is also given into the hands of irresponsible people in the future. The urgency you have for this law means that you are doing harm. You are not letting us clarify.

Manja: Okay, you three found the rabbit in the bush (Bylykbashi, Strazimir and Gjiknuri).

Gjiknuri: One second, because we didn't clarify, give me the floor.

Manja puts the law to a vote and approves it, while considering Gjiknuri's vote as an abstention.

Gjiknuri: Will you give me your word or should I leave altogether?

Manja: You can leave, you stay abstinent. Deal with Oerdi.

Gjiknuri: Okay, I'm leaving.
