Berisha at the National Council: The DP, an undefeated party, internationalized

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that the DP is at an important political moment, as an undefeated party after the battles waged against the government.

In his speech during the meeting of the DP National Council, Berisha focused on the opposition action, saying that the DP has held hundreds of protests and denunciations against what he described as an "authoritarian dictatorship."

Berisha stated that the DP has managed to internationalize its positions and receive support in European institutions.

Berisha: The Democratic Party comes at these moments as an invincible party, as a party that against this authoritarian dictatorship held over 400 protests in three years, carried out hundreds of acts of action against it. It comes at these moments after it managed to successfully denounce the electoral farce of the authoritarian dictatorship worldwide. It was an extraordinary achievement to denounce the electoral farce and to have it recognized as such by the European Parliament's foreign affairs committee. Our battle with the narco-state has been difficult, but again, the steps are great.

Just two weeks ago, in the resolution voted and in the documents of the European People's Party, the Albanian narco-euro was branded, this currency of drug barons and drug lords that is destroying, is destroying more than anything else the Albanian economy. The truth is that the international community is becoming increasingly aware of the great danger that the narco-state and Edi Rama represent for the security not only of Albania but also of Europe.

Friends, we are at an extremely important moment, a 46-day protest continues on the boulevard of Tirana. A completely anti-dictatorial protest. It is the duty of every democrat to support it with all the possibilities and potentials they have. There is no greater blessing from God than to protest every day against this narco-dictatorship. And do not forget, the causes that we have defended with the greatest determination, the one who fights for the cause, the one for a just cause, he never withdraws from the battle for it. Therefore, it is this cause that places it on the political and moral plane as the main ally of the Democratic Party.
