Tragic accident in Cërrik, two cars collide head-on, suspected victims

A serious road accident caused two fatalities this evening in the village of Qyrkan, in the Gostime Administrative Unit of the Cërrik Municipality.

According to preliminary information, two vehicles collided head-on with each other. The collision was of high impact, causing extensive damage to both vehicles, while one of them went off the road.

Two people died at the scene, while their identities have not yet been made public.

Police forces, emergency teams and an investigation group immediately arrived at the area, and began verifications to clarify the causes and dynamics of the accident.
