On Thursday, Muslim believers will celebrate Eid al-Adha, after 30 days of fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Although this year, too, this holiday will be celebrated in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, this time it seems that the masses are more relaxed.

Tirana Mufti Lauren Luli tells Euronews Albania that unlike last year where the morning prayer was performed only in mosques, this time the prayer will be performed in the main squares of cities, while in Tirana, it will be performed in Skanderbeg Square.

" The last two Eids were limited to praying in mosques, but this year we will forgive it in the square, we will celebrate it together, although with great care. The Eid prayer is together for this reason, because it is often asked why they should pray together, but the symbolism of Eid is to celebrate together, so to gather in one place " , said the Mufti of Tirana, Lauren Luli.

The Eid prayer program according to the Mufti of Tirana will start around 6 without 20 on May 14. Due to the pandemic this activity will be shorter in time and every believer should be equipped with a mask.
