Two people have fallen into the hands of the Lezha police, after being accused of forging passports, identity cards and patents.

The arrested citizens are LS, 27 years old and RH, 39 years old, resident in Kukës.

Meanwhile, during the control exercised in the vehicle type "Ford Mustang" with driver RH citizen and passenger LS citizen, Police services have found and seized 23 identity cards, 19 passports and 23 driving licenses of different countries, suspected forged.

Lezha police have arrested two people, who are accused of forging passports, identity cards and patents.

As part of the operation codenamed "Falsifikatori", the citizens LS, 27 years old and RH, 39 years old, resident in Kukës, were arrested.

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime at DVP Lezha, in cooperation with the special force "Eagles", following the work to combat illegality, based on information provided operatively that 2 citizens engaged in illegal activity of forgery of ID cards and passports were moving by vehicle from Kukës towards Tirana, have organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Forger", as a result of which the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

- LS, 27 years old and RH, 39 years old, resident in Kukës.

At the entrance of the city of Rrëshen, the police services of DVP Lezha have identified the suspected vehicle and have stopped it.

During the control exercised in the vehicle type "Ford Mustang" with driver RH citizen and passenger LS citizen, Police services have found and seized 23 identity cards, 19 passports and 23 driving licenses of different countries, suspected forged.

Following the actions, the Kukës Police services searched the apartment of these citizens, where again such ID cards were found.

The "Ford Mustang" vehicle, passports, identity cards and forged driving licenses were seized as material evidence.

Work continues for the full documentation of this criminal activity and the identification of other persons involved.

The investigative materials were referred for further actions to the Lezha Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offenses "Falsification of identity cards, passports or visas" and "Falsification of stamps, seals and forms".
