Genocide against the Chams, Idrizi message to Greece from Saranda

Hundreds of Albanians from Chameria have placed red roses in the cemetery "Roses of Chameria" in Kllogjer of Saranda.

The remains of 2900 Albanians of Chameria, who lost their lives during the genocide of 1944-1945, are buried there. The President of PDIU, Shpëtim Idrizi gave a message to all Albanians

"Do not forget Chameria, do not be silent about Chameria. "One of the other basic reasons why we are here and we come here is that such human tragedies should not be repeated in this troubled country," said Idrizi.

The PDIU chairman also addressed a message to Greece.

"It's time and I make another appeal to Greece, that we should turn our eyes away from positivity as a good neighbor. The sooner we get away from the ghosts of the past, the sooner we get rid of them, the sooner we will be two friendly countries.

But I guarantee you all of them do not forget that, all our graves are here, our people are here, the Albanians of Chameria are here, our properties are here and there and human rights will never be forgotten by the Albanians of Chameria. "Thank God we are growing in geometric projection and in the context of human rights we will demand our rights to the end," he added.
