A serious accident resulting in the death of one person occurred this Sunday in Gjirokastra. It is learned that the incident took place on the Gjirokastër-Çajup road axis, where a 62-year-old man driving a "Fiat" vehicle lost control and as a result went off the road.
The citizen identified as Feim Mazaj was transported to the Gjirokastër Regional Hospital but died as a result of the injuries he received. Meanwhile, the investigative group has arrived at the scene and is working to clarify the causes of this serious accident.
"Around 16:45, on the road axis Gjirokastër-Çajup, in the place called "Erind", citizen FM, 62 years old, resident in the village of Erind, Gjirokastër, driving a "Fiat" type vehicle, allegedly lost control over the direction of the vehicle and went off the road.
Citizen FM was transported to the Gjirokastër Regional Hospital, but died as a result of the injuries received. The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the causes of the accident ," the police announced./abcnews.al
