Work continues on locating, apprehending and bringing before criminal responsibility the citizens declared wanted for various criminal offences.

The coordination of work and the exchange of information between the police of Gjirokastra, Durrës and Vlora, led to the arrest of the citizen declared wanted in the framework of 2 anti-drug operations.

The 29-year-old detained, with 2 security measures, accused by the Court of Gjirokastra of transporting 27.6 kg of cannabis sativa, and accused by the Court of Vlora of cultivation and production of cannabis sativa, in a closed environment, by means of lamps.

The 29-year-old man was caught while working in a car wash near the Dajlan bridge, Durra.

Specialists of the Traffic and Narcotics Investigation Section of the Gjirokastra Local Police Directorate, as a result of the exchange of information and the coordination of police actions with the local Police Directorates, Durrës and Vlora, for the location of a citizen with a significant criminal record in the field of of narcotics, located the wanted citizen Klajdi Mziri, 29 years old, in a subject (laundry), near the Dajlan bridge, Durrës.

- The court of Gjirokastra has appointed the 29-year-old, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", carried out in cooperation. Citizen Klajdi Mziri is accused of collaborating with another citizen to transport 27.6 kg of cannabis sativa narcotic. This case was found and dealt with by the Police of Gjirokastra, in the place called "Kthesa e Sofratika", on 24.01.2022, as part of the police operation coded "Transporter".

- The Vlora court has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" to the citizen Klajdi Mziri, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Theft of electricity or telephone impulses". In the warehouse rented by citizen Klajdi Mziri, in the village of Volloder, 100 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated using lamps supplied with stolen electricity. A quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa was also found in the premises of this warehouse. This case was detected and dealt with by the Police of Vlora, on 26.01.2022, as part of the coded police operation "Volloder".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër, for further actions.
