The Special Court has found guilty and sentenced the three defendants for the attempted murder of Inez Hajrulla and Ervis Matodashaj.
Leonard Luzi, accused of being the organizer, was sentenced to 11 years in prison. The court sentenced Muharrem Korroveshi to 10 years in prison, while the justice defector Amarildo Nikolli was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison.
All three defendants receive a one-third reduction in sentence due to the summary trial.
The assassination attempt on Inez Hajrulla, which was planned to be carried out on August 7, 2023, was prevented after the police arrested Amarildo Nikolli, who had agreed to the murder.
