Prime Minister Edi Rama has described his wife Linda as his most ruthless critic.

Asked how oppositional she is in relation to her prime minister husband, Linda Rama told Euronews Albania that Rama is a very difficult debater, but emphasizes that she is a 'non-annoying oppositionist' in the prime minister's family.

"It does not matter who is right but to go right with the contribution of both. Edi is a very difficult debater, he has an innate passion for debate to stick to his beliefs. To get out of it is not in our dictionary.

None of us has a personal agenda. I too am persistent, and know how to resist. I resist in the name of my arguments, I do not give up easily either.
